GSE’s Electrical Engineering Department averages over 15 years of detailed design experience. Our engineers have a diverse background to meet any engineering need. Their experience ranges across all markets from industrial to commercial to utility to inspection to subject matter expert, etc. Our staff utilizes the latest editions of Autocad, Revit, SKM Power Tools and multiple photometric lighting software programs. Specifications, design documents, scope of work and construction support are tailored to each project with client’s needs in mind to facilitate a seamless design and construction process.
Engineering Department at GSE consists of fire protection engineers and code
officials with a background in commercial, government, and heavy industrial
operations. We have a broad experience base in the areas of active and passive
fire protection systems.
We have designed water based and non-water based suppression systems, networked fire alarm systems, life safety systems, code consulting, and modeling.
GSE’s Code Compliance staff includes former municipal code officials who are certified by the ICC and experienced with code review, facility inspections and design around complex code issues. Our experience also includes industrial high-hazard occupancies, performance based concepts and passive fire protection / life safety systems.

GSE recently upgraded our scanner with a new Leica P20 HDS Laser Scanner. GSE upgraded from the Leica Scanstation. The P20 can gather 1,000,000 points per second with millimeter accuracy. Point clouds can be exported in a wide range of formats to meet the requirements of most data processing software. GSE can also perform 3D and 2D modeling of the scan data.
