3D SCANNING / BIM

GSE recently upgraded our scanner with a new Leica P20 HDS Laser Scanner.  GSE upgraded from the Leica Scanstation.  The P20 can gather 1,000,000 points per second with millimeter accuracy.  Point clouds can be exported in a wide range of formats to meet the requirements of most data processing software. GSE can also perform 3D and 2D modeling of the scan data. Examples of scanning projects: Topographic data gathering for site design Volumes of raw materials Transportation – Bridges/Roads Industrial facilities.

FEATURED PROJECT

Centennial Plaza

Centennial Plaza, a historical site that once housed a Veterans Administration facility, was converted to a traditional neighborhood development. GSE provided topographic and tree surveying services to aid in the design of the improvements to the development. Additionally, GSE's civil design included infrastructure improvements for the overall site. GSE has also provided civil engineering services for the Holiday Inn resort, the first anchor tenant for this development. GSE will continue to provide services as the development expands.
