MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
The Mechanical Department at GSE employs a team of experienced professional engineers who can provide a broad range of design services. We have a broad experience base in the areas of chemical production, petroleum refining, petrochemicals, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, waste treatment, environmental and food processing. GSE can design and select equipment including vessels, material handling, packaging systems, compressors, and pumps, as well as design for fire control, code compliance, energy analysis and management, and commissioning. Our Piping Department’s expertise includes piping specifications, racks and sleeper design, stress analysis, isometric drawings, tie-ins to existing facilities, and working with clients and across disciplines for layout optimization.

The Annex Luxury Apartments
In the heart of New Orleans’ oldest neighborhood, the French Quarter, the former Maison Blanche Department store underwent a massive renovation and restoration to become an 87-unit residential property. GSE partnered with John C. Williams Architects, LLC, to provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design for the 5-story building, including a new level for parking between the existing 1st and 2nd floors and a new penthouse level.
